are nfl numbers down

We all know the NFL is a huge deal in the US. People are passionate about it, people travel to games, people throw parties, and it’s a pastime that has been around for ages. But, lately there have been numbers that have caused us to pause and take note. Are NFL numbers down?

I think so. I recently heard that attendance to the games was down about 7 percent during the 2017 season. This was the largest drop-off since 2011, and the second lowest since 2007. That’s serious numbers. There’s also talk that viewership is significantly down in recent years, citing concerns about player safety, the national anthem protests, and cheap jerseys other things.

I know this news has caused a lot of consternation. Me, I don’t really worry too much. I think the long-term stability of the league is secure. Sure, cheap nfl jerseys we’re going through a downward spiral at the moment, but there have been periods in the past where the league has seen enrollment drop-offs as well. And, the powerful allure of the NFL, it’s history and popularity in the US, ensure that’ll it’ll be back up and on the rise again soon enough.

On the other hand, these drops in numbers could signify a larger issue. If we’re having a decline in fans, teams, cheap jerseys and viewers—well, it doesn’t look good, y’know? It could be a sign that football is no longer as popular as it used to be. Could it be that there’s a shift in public perception, that there’s some kind of zeitgeist that’s caused us to look elsewhere for our entertainment? Could be.

Still, I for one am optimistic. Sure, we might be seeing a little dip right now, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to stay that way. We’ve seen these dips before, and the NFL has always come back stronger because it fills an important spot in so many people’s lives. Besides, I’m a big believer that the best times are always ahead of us, never behind.

If I’m right, then we’re in for a real treat in the coming years. We’ve already seen so many technological advances in the NFL—new broadcast technologies, new safety measures, advancements in player tracking and evaluation skills—and wholesale jerseys from china I expect that same rapid advancement to continue. Who knows what type of NFL experience we’ll see five or ten years from now?

But, cheap nfl jerseys from china that’s enough about looking ahead. Right now, let’s focus on what’s directly in front of us. Sure, the attendance numbers and cheap jerseys viewership might be down compared to years past, but that doesn’t mean it’s not still incredibly exciting. If nothing else, it shows that there’s room for improvement, cheap nfl jerseys and wholesale jerseys sometimes an opportunity for teaching, too.

Now, I’m not going to deny football has had some tough times in recent years. But, just look at the last few weeks of the season! That kind of drama, that kind of passion, cheap nfl jerseys that type of emotion—it speaks for itself, really. In my book, that’s what it’s all about, no matter what the attendance numbers say.

I can’t speak for everybody, but I’m still a huge fan of the NFL. It’s been in my life since forever, and I’m sure it’s going to stay that way for many years to come. I mean, yeah, we might be in a bit of dip right now. But, cheap jerseys from china I’m confident that with a bit of commitment, a bit of change, and a bit of love, we can make the NFL bigger, better, and more exciting than ever before.

So that’s my take—how about you? Are NFL numbers down? What do you think? Do you share my optimism, or do you think football is going to be on its way out? I’d love to hear what you have to say.
