I’m a huge NFL fan – I mean, I watch games every Sunday, gotta show my team some love! So when I heard about Sunday Ticket on Amazon Prime, I was intrigued. Can I really get my regular Sunday games on Prime?

That was my first thought, but then I did a bit of digging. Turns out that, no, you can’t get the Sunday Ticket package through Prime, BUT it’s still available through DirecTV! Amazon Prime carries some of the NFL regular season on Prime even though it doesn’t include the Sunday Ticket package.

I can understand why the Sunday Ticket package isn’t available for Prime – it’s a premium service and a special package. As a sports fan, I know how important those Sunday games are! And I’m sure that Prime doesn’t want just one big package like that, since that would mean Prime’s offerings wouldn’t be that diverse.

That being said, I’m still bummed out that I can’t get my regular Sunday football fix on Prime. I mean, you can stream the Friday and Monday night games as well as some regular season games, but no Sunday Ticket? That’s a tough one. On the bright side, Amazon Prime does carry a lot of the other NFL content, like highlights, reviews of last night’s games, analysis and interviews with the players and coaches.

Plus, I’ve got the NFL Game Pass so I can watch out-of-market games as well as the post season games, the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl too! So while I’m a little disappointed, I’m also okay. Plus, I can still keep up with the scores, watch the highlights – and wholesale jerseys get ready for the next week’s game!

Apart from not being able to stream the Sunday Ticket package on Prime, I’m actually doing pretty good. I can still access the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl, and watch pretty much all of the regular season games too. I mean, it’s not the same as Sunday Ticket, but at least I can get some NFL action here and there.

What I do really appreciate is that I can access all sorts of other NFL content – not just the games. Highlights, interviews, analysis – it’s all there! And it helps when I want to go back and watch some previous games or get all caught up on what’s been happening around the league.
